after much prayer and a clear call from god i have accepted the lead pastor position at Breiel Blvd Church in Middletown Oh. i am very excited about this opportunity to impact that community in creative and relevant ways with the power of christ.
of course, it is terribly hard to leave a people and place that i love here in vb. in weaker moments, i feel like abraham leaving isaac on the altar a little bit...but god goes before and he stays behind (he's like everywhere!) and he will take care of things here and there. water's edge chruch is an amazing, exemplary church in so many ways. i know god will use them in even greater ways in the years ahead.
